This role is conducted in a remote setting, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life effectively. While the position is primarily virtual, collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential. You will interact with healthcare colleagues, including primary care providers and psychologists, through telehealth platforms, which allows for efficient communication and care coordination.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, utilizing your education and experience to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with patients to devise tailored treatment plans that encompass evidence-based behavioral therapies such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adapting treatment strategies as needed to address their evolving requirements.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to enhance the overall effectiveness of care delivery.
• Assist in managing psychotropic medication adherence and addressing any side effects, ensuring that patients receive optimal treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, facilitating seamless communication among team members.
• Participate in case conferences and provide insights during team meetings to foster a collaborative treatment environment.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes.

Your clinical work will primarily focus on individuals in the detox phase of recovery, targeting those dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. You will serve a diverse population that includes adults from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and strengths. Your ability to empathize and adapt treatment approaches will be crucial in helping them navigate their journeys toward recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Oregon.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, with a focus on mental health and substance use disorders.

• Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with telehealth service delivery and EHR systems.
