The Assistant Director of Admission, Southeast U.S. Regional Representative is responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of a new and developing recruitment territory in the Southeast United States. This position requires a highly motivated, independent professional who will function as the primary face of Saint Mary's College in the region.  The Representative will design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, build new relationships with high schools and Community Based Organizations, and manage the full admission lifecycle for prospective students in the territory. 

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, enjoy working independently, and will be able to work autonomously while maintaining a strong connection to the main campus team.  He/She will represent the College at high school visits, college day/night events, open houses, and college fairs, and will actively review applications and participate in admission committee decisions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy for the Southeast United States recruitment territory.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with high schools, community-based organizations, counselors, and other educational partners to expand Saint Mary's College's visibility and enrollment presence.
  • Recruit, counsel, and guide prospective first-year and transfer students and their families throughout the admission process.
  • Represent Saint Mary's College at high school visits, college fairs, college nights, open houses, receptions, and other recruitment events throughout the assigned territory.
  • Manage the complete admission lifecycle, from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Evaluate applications for admission and serve as a voting member of the Admission Committee.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop territory-specific communication and recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze recruitment data, monitor territory performance, and provide regular reports to the Director of Admission regarding recruitment activities, trends, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and prospect activity using the College's CRM system.
  • Travel periodically to Saint Mary's College for professional development, strategic planning meetings, and major campus events.
  • Work independently to identify new recruitment opportunities, adapt strategies based on market trends, and meet or exceed enrollment goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Admission team and other campus partners to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Residence within the Southeast United States, with preference given to candidates located in Georgia or North Carolina.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong initiative, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and digital recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
  • Experience working effectively with diverse student populations and communities.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (approximately nine weeks annually), including evenings and weekends during peak recruitment seasons.
  • Reliable home office with high-speed internet access.
  • Valid driver's license and passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Previous experience in college admission, territory management, or regional recruitment.
  • Familiarity with the educational landscape and college-going culture within the Southeast United States.
  • Experience using Slate CRM.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Demonstrated success building recruitment partnerships and growing enrollment within an assigned territory.
Schedule

Full-time, 12-month position based in the Southeast United States. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required, along with periodic travel to Saint Mary's College. Evening and weekend work is expected during peak recruitment periods.
