Board Secretary (Volunteer Board Position – Remote)

Art For All is seeking a volunteer Board Secretary to support the organization’s governance, board communication, and meeting organization.

Art For All is a nonprofit organization providing inclusive arts, recreation, and community programs for adults with developmental and physical disabilities in the Seattle/Shoreline area. Our programs include art classes, community events, exhibits, recreation activities, and collaborative creative opportunities designed to foster inclusion, connection, and community engagement.

The Board Secretary plays an important organizational role by helping maintain board structure, communication, and documentation. This is a remote volunteer board position and is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, collaborative, and interested in supporting a growing community nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Assisting with board meeting agendas and scheduling
  • Recording and organizing meeting minutes
  • Maintaining board and governance documents
  • Helping track important organizational and filing dates
  • Supporting communication between board members
  • Assisting with governance and organizational organization as needed

This role works collaboratively with organizational leadership and does not require managing day-to-day program operations.

Ideal Qualifications
