As the Outpatient Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized and couples therapy to clients across various age groups dealing with substance use and mental health challenges.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client.
• Managing case documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all notes and record-keeping activities following state and organizational guidelines.
• Scheduling ongoing therapy appointments and maintaining an organized calendar to facilitate accessibility and continuity of care for clients.
• Collaborating with other practitioners and utilizing a billing service to manage client accounts, claims, and payment plans effectively.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address the diverse clinical presentations that clients may present.

Your work will focus on a varied client population that includes youth, adults, and families experiencing difficulties related to substance use and mental health. You will provide culturally competent care tailored to each individual's circumstances, with an emphasis on inclusivity and understanding. The role requires sensitivity to the challenges faced by clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly women and those seeking recovery support.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or behavioral healthcare field.
• A valid LCSW license to practice independently at the state level.
• At least two years of paid full-time experience in chemical dependency, mental health, or adolescent treatment.

Experience working with couples is highly desired, as it can significantly enhance your ability to address relational dynamics in therapy. Additionally, familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and clinical assessment methods will be beneficial in ensuring effective treatment delivery.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
