Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW with Delta Area Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive substance use and mental health assessments for clients of all ages—youth, adults, and families—who have been referred to our outpatient services.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
• Providing both individual and couples therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to best support your clients’ diverse needs and therapeutic goals.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes and client progress in compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Coordinating with external resources and support systems to enhance client treatment outcomes, including case management and referral services.
• Scheduling and managing ongoing appointments while maintaining an organized calendar to ensure consistent client follow-up.
• Utilizing our billing service framework to handle claims and insurance processes efficiently, allowing you to focus more on client engagement rather than administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve working with individuals from various backgrounds dealing with addiction and mental health issues. Your client caseload will include both adolescents and adults, requiring a nuanced understanding of their distinctive challenges and the socio-economic factors influencing their mental health. This diverse exposure will enhance your skill set and allow you to hone your therapeutic techniques tailored to each age group.

Qualifications

To successfully fill this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active LCSW licensure in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in the fields of chemical dependency, mental health, or adolescent treatment.
• Ability to practice independently as a licensed LCSW.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with substantial training or experience working with couples, as well as those who demonstrate proficiency in working with a variety of clinical presentations, will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits

Delta Area Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
