Description

As a driven Sales Development Representative in the safety and compliance sector, you will spearhead B2B growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts through strategic prospecting, cold calling, event attending/ hosting, and comprehensive pipeline management. This dynamic role involves conducting in-person site visits, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and presenting tailored safety programs to meet sales quotas and solve complex client challenges. Beyond generating leads and negotiating proposals, you will ensure seamless client onboarding and long-term satisfaction by collaborating closely with internal operations and service teams. Backed by robust, continual sales training and mentorship, you will continuously track performance metrics and stay attuned to industry patterns to build enduring customer relationships and drive sustained market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new B2B leads through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting to consistently build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Sales Presentations & Site Visits: Conduct in-person meetings, facility site visits, and compelling product demonstrations (including transporting product samples) to showcase tailored safety and compliance solutions.
  • Pipeline & Quota Management: Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to preparing proposals, negotiating pricing, and closing deals to meet or exceed established sales quotas.
  • Client Onboarding & Collaboration: Partner with internal operations and service teams to ensure the seamless onboarding of new clients and swift resolution of any customer needs or issues.
  • Account Management & Retention: Cultivate long-term, profitable relationships with existing accounts by ensuring continuous satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account expansion.
  • Reporting & Industry Expertise: Track key performance metrics, maintain accurate reports on daily sales activity, and stay up to date on industry trends, compliance regulations, and product offerings.
