QA Tester
Location : Remote
  • Design detailed and comprehensive test plans, test artifacts and documenting all phases of SQA process by analyzing System Design Document (SRD) and Business Requirement Document (BRD) for new functionality of software applications.
  • Prepare test documentation and maintain the standards to meet PMO, quality assurance, security, operations, compliance and control requirements.
  • Define testing strategy, test data strategy and mentor testing on best practices
  • Able to perform different types of testing on different technology platforms
  • Perform defect analysis (Root Cause Analysis and escalate issues as required to ensure further actions and work with developers in all aspects of resolution & verification.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with key business users and stakeholders as needed to plan on requirement analysis.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum teams as required to assists with the design, development, and implementation of new features.
  • Adhere to Security and Privacy controls including HIPAA
  • Participate in testing and release management activities in UAT and Production environments.
  • Capable of working in multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing the daily work efforts.
  • Provide required guidance to the quality assurance team and track the deliverables by driving the team effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC), software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Prior experience testing sales compensation systems is a must (healthcare is a plus, but not required)
  • Prior experience with any sales compensation system
  • Proficient knowledge in Agile tracking tools like Rally, JIRA etc
  • Strong understanding of analyst/tester role in agile methodology is a must
  • Sound knowledge of database and SQL in an oracle environment is preferred
  • Experience creating and managing test data is a must
  • Experience writing complex queries (Oracle and DB2) to analyze and test multiple data sources D' Focus
