Program Coach & Special Education Case Manager

Part-Time Salaried (30 Hours/Week) | Fully Remote

Master's degree in Special Education (or a closely related field).

  • Preferred Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (Monday-Friday schedules will also be considered).
  • Core Coaching Hours: 1:00 PM-7:00 PM Pacific Time, with some evenings extending until 8:00 PM Pacific.
  • Consistent Availability: Families rely on recurring weekly appointments, so dependable availability during these hours is essential.
  • Home Office: You'll maintain a private, distraction-free workspace with reliable high-speed internet and the technology needed to provide outstanding virtual coaching.

At EF Specialists, we help middle school, high school, and college students develop the executive function skills they need to thrive in school-and beyond. Through individualized coaching, family collaboration, and evidence-based strategies, we empower students with ADHD, learning differences, autism, and other executive functioning challenges to become more confident, independent learners.

We're growing and looking for an exceptional Program Coach & Special Education Case Manager to become a key member of our coaching team. This is a high-impact role where you'll coach students, partner with families, consult on educational plans, and help shape the future of our growing organization.

The Role

You'll receive training directly from our Founder & CEO and become an integral part of delivering our signature Semester Coaching Program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • 1:1 Executive Function Coaching - Coach middle school, high school, and college students in planning, organization, time management, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and follow-through.
  • Family Team Meetings - Partner with parents and caregivers to review progress, align on goals, and create practical strategies that support student success at home and school.
  • Group Coaching & Accountability Sessions - Facilitate weekly planning and accountability groups that help students prioritize, stay organized, and build consistent routines.
  • IEP & 504 Consultations - Guide families through accommodations, educational planning, and school collaboration.
  • Complex Case Management - Manage a caseload of students with diverse learning, executive functioning, and behavioral profiles while collaborating with families, schools, and outside providers.
  • Discovery Calls - Meet with prospective families to understand their needs, explain our services, and recommend appropriate support.
  • Coach Development - Assist with interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, and supporting members of our coaching team.
  • Business & Administrative Projects
    (depending on hours) - Support referral outreach, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives that help the company grow.
  • Additional Responsibilities - Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned by the Founder & CEO.

  • Holds a Master's degree in Special Education (or a closely related field).
  • Has experience working with middle school, high school, and/or college students with ADHD, learning differences, autism, and executive function challenges.

  • Believes students with diverse learning needs can thrive with the right coaching and support.
  • Is comfortable working with complex, resistant, or struggling students while remaining patient, creative, and solution-focused.
  • Demonstrates exceptional executive function skills personally-you stay organized, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate without needing reminders.
  • Is an outstanding communicator who builds trust with students, parents, schools, and colleagues.
  • Is comfortable leading one-on-one coaching sessions, group classes, family meetings, IEP and 504 consultations, and discovery calls.
  • Is responsive, dependable, and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Welcomes feedback, enjoys continuous learning, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Takes ownership, works independently, and contributes wherever needed.

Schedule & Work Environment
