The Opportunity

The People Analytics & Insights Manager is responsible for transforming workforce data into actionable insights that inform and direct business decisions across Valvoline and Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC). This role partners closely with Reporting & Compliance and HR leaders to move beyond reporting toward insight-driven decision making, with a strong emphasis on employee listening and analytics enablement at scale.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Partner closely with Reporting & Compliance to ensure data accuracy, consistency, governance, and compliance while translating reports into meaningful insights for leaders.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to retention, engagement, staffing, performance, and workforce health.
  • Develop business-relevant insights that connect people metrics to operational and financial outcomes, particularly within high-volume, frontline environments.
  • Serve as a thought partner to HRBPs and business leaders, helping them interpret data and apply insights to workforce decisions.
  • Own and manage the employee listening strategy using Workday Peakon, including survey design, administration, driver analysis, and insight generation.
  • Enable leaders with clear, practical survey results and guidance to support action planning and sustained improvement.
  • Create executive-ready dashboards, summaries, and narratives that clearly articulate "what's happening," "why it matters," and "what to do next."
  • Establish and maintain standard people metrics while allowing flexibility for business-specific insights.
  • Continuously improve analytics capability by identifying opportunities to enhance tools, processes, and data literacy across HR.
  • Support enterprise and functional readouts (e.g., HRLT, business reviews, SteerCo) as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources, Analytics, Business, Data Science, or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in people analytics, workforce analytics, HR analytics, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience translating data into insights that influence business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience working with HR systems and analytics platforms; Workday and/or Peakon experience preferred
  • Experience with HR data tools such as Workday Prism preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex data in clear, compelling ways to non-technical audiences
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong partnership mindset with the ability to influence without authority
  • Utilize advanced Excel features (such as PivotTables, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH, and Power Query) and SQL to extract, clean, and analyze large-scale HR data
  • Create executive-level dashboards using strong design principles to present clear, actionable insights
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
