Job Description – JIRA & Confluence Implementation Lead 
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled JIRA & Confluence Implementation Lead / Migration Architect with at least 10 + years of lead enterprise-wide Atlassian platform implementations, migrations, architecture design, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable Atlassian environments, leading migration programs, implementing best practices, and driving collaboration across Agile, DevOps, and IT Service Management teams.
This role requires deep expertise in Atlassian architecture, cloud and data center migrations, workflow engineering, integrations, automation, and enterprise governance.

Key Responsibilities
Atlassian Solution Architecture & Design
•    Design and architect scalable JIRA and Confluence environments for enterprise use. 
•    Define platform strategy, architecture standards, governance models, and operational procedures. 
•    Create high-availability, secure, and performance-optimized Atlassian environments. 
•    Design multi-project and multi-team collaboration frameworks. 
•    Establish enterprise taxonomy, permission models, naming standards, and workspace structures. 
•    Lead end-to-end implementation of: 
o    JIRA Software 
o    JIRA Service Management (JSM) 
o    Confluence 
•    Configure: 
o    Workflows 
o    Schemes 
o    Automation rules 
o    Dashboards 
o    Reports 
o    SLAs 
o    Custom fields 
o    Screen configurations 
•    Implement Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and ITSM workflows. 
•    Lead migrations including:

o    Legacy ticketing/documentation platform migrations 
•    Perform migration assessments, dependency mapping, and migration planning. 
•    Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans, and cutover strategies. 
•    Execute data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration optimization. 
Integration & Automation
•    Integrate Atlassian platforms with enterprise systems such as:
