Position Summary


We are seeking a results-driven B2B Security Sales Representative with a strong foundation in consultative selling and a working understanding of physical security systems and services. This role will be responsible for generating new business, managing and expanding existing accounts, and presenting tailored security solutions that address client needs across AmeriGuard's full-service portfolio (alarm systems, monitoring, guards, mobile patrol, and surveillance technologies). Key Responsibilities:


As a B2B Security Sales Representative, you will:

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-value residential accounts.
  • Prospect through cold calling, networking, industry events, referrals, and lead nurturing activities.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast revenue performance accurately.


Consultative Selling:

  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client security risks and priorities.
  • Present customized proposals and solutions drawing from AmeriGuard's alarm systems, monitoring, patrol, and guard service offerings.
  • Demonstrate expertise in security technologies (e.g., intrusion detection, video surveillance, remote monitoring).


Account Management:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, business owners, facility directors, and security decision-makers.
  • Maintain strong after-sales follow-up to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and to identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Document sales activity, proposals, and account status accurately in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless proposal design and implementation of security solutions.


Required Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)


Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a consultative closing style
  • Prior experience selling security systems, monitoring services, or physical security solutions strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success achieving/exceeding sales quotas


Skills:

  • Security Product Knowledge: Familiarity with alarm systems, surveillance technology, access control, and on-site security services (guards, patrols)
  • Consultative Sales Acumen: Ability to diagnose client needs and align solutions accordingly
  • Negotiation & Closing: Skilled in managing contract negotiations to close agreements
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills
