Job description

Currently hiring agricultural service technicians and lead technicians in Kaukauna, WI. As an agricultural service technician your primary responsibilities are servicing, installing, and maintaining agricultural equipment for customers. This is a contract to hire position with 40-60 hours a week. Pay is $30 - $35 depending on skill set and level of experience. Agricultural Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment and systems
  • Install, service, and maintain equipment, utilizing mechanical, welding, fabrication, and layout skills
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, hydraulics, and sheet metal layouts
  • Perform welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) to fabricate/repair parts
  • Diagnose and, troubleshoot, and repair defective agricultural equipment and systems
  • Document service and installation activities accurately through reports, logs, and records
  • Lead, mentor, and train technicians and new team members (lead service technician)
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of company vehicles, tools, and work environment
  • Ensure all work complies with safety practices and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service

Agricultural Service Technician Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience servicing agricultural equipment
  • Customer service mindset
  • Mechanically inclined
  • CDL license is a plus
  • Welding experience is a plus (required for lead technician)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
