Job Brief

The Project Manager will organize, manage and plan implementation projects. They will provide technical expertise and leadership to projects and process improvements. This includes engaging resources and ensuring quality control throughout projects along with providing expertise and guidance during system development, from conceptualization to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Assists with cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Leads regular status meetings with project team.
  • Works closely with other departments to coordinate and perform a variety of projects.
  • 5% overnight travel as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of associated work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience implementing software and IT knowledge preferred.
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience in Support; or related experience and/or training.
  • Strong knowledge in PM applications and tools preferred.
  • PMP certified or in progress preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
