• Provide individualized psychotherapy sessions to clients dealing with mental health issues related to substance abuse.
• Conduct thorough assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans employing best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based techniques tailored to the unique recovery needs of clients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating ongoing patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, family members, and other caregivers, to coordinate the best patient care.
• Deliver education to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, substance use disorders, and available resources to promote recovery.
• Stay current with latest research and developments in the field of substance abuse treatment and integrate new knowledge into your practice.
• Effectively manage caseloads to ensure treatment goals are met while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Our patient population comprises individuals experiencing various degrees of substance use disorders alongside mental health concerns. You will interact with a diverse client base that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Philadelphia, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in communication and treatment approaches. The focus is on fostering a non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to share their experiences and challenges.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, with a focus on treating substance abuse and mental health issues.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, particularly solution-focused interventions.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, particularly those familiar with evidence-based practices focused on recovery and rehabilitation. Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and a background in multidisciplinary team collaboration may enhance a candidate's application.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and proficiency.
