This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and the ability to manage a full caseload while enjoying a work-life balance. You will be part of an outpatient office environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes other therapists, clinical staff, and support personnel, all of whom are dedicated to delivering the highest level of clinical quality.

• Effectively manage crises that arise during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Provide guidance and support to milieu staff in their interactions with patients and families, fostering a collaborative treatment atmosphere.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation throughout the course of treatment, with all notes completed at the time of service.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and their loved ones, conducting thorough assessments for suicidality and potential dangers.
• Facilitate the admission process for new clients, approaching this task with professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings, communicating treatment goals clearly to all involved in client care.
• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance providers, submitting the necessary clinical information to secure treatment authorization.
• Maintain accessibility to family members or caregivers, ensuring timely communication and support during business hours and beyond.
• Coordinate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to address authorization and payment issues effectively.
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission, ensuring that clients are equipped with coping strategies and a clear transition plan upon discharge.

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population, presenting various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. By nurturing a strong therapeutic alliance, you will aid clients in harnessing their strengths and developing personalized coping strategies that lead to positive outcomes. Your engagement with families will also play a critical role in enhancing treatment effectiveness and ensuring continuity of care.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• An independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sizable caseload, providing high-quality care to a diverse client population.
• A genuine passion for impacting lives through behavioral health care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and strong communication skills via electronic mail.

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Skill in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and service authorization.
• Comfortable facilitating group therapy or educational workshops.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employees will receive comprehensive benefits, including:
