As a member of our virtual team, you will participate in weekly meetings and collaborative sessions, ensuring you are well-integrated into our dynamic community health clinic.

• Complete clinical documentation promptly during treatment sessions, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, conducting thorough assessments for suicidality and potential risks to self or others.
• Facilitate admissions assessments with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor to ensure a positive new patient experience.
• Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings, communicating progress and treatment goals while collaborating with colleagues to provide cohesive care.
• Engage in utilization reviews with insurance companies, submitting clinical information to obtain the necessary authorizations efficiently.
• Maintain open lines of communication with family members, returning calls and emails promptly to foster trust and involvement in patient care.
• Work with the Utilization Review Department to coordinate authorization and payment processes, ensuring seamless transitions throughout patient care.
• Begin discharge planning on the day of admission, completing discharge sessions that equip patients with coping strategies and resources for their continued mental health journey.
• Manage crises effectively in sessions, and collaborate with milieu staff to maintain a supportive and safe therapeutic environment.

We serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to severe mental health disorders. Our therapists are committed to providing compassionate, individualized care, adapting their approaches to accommodate the distinct needs of each patient, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances and therapeutic goals.

• A current independent license in the state of Oregon, including options such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• A master’s degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
• Strong organizational and management skills capable of handling a substantial caseload while interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other practice management software for accurate documentation and communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Previous experience in a community health setting, specifically within mental health services.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for enhancing behavioral health outcomes through innovative approaches and patient engagement.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in mental health care delivery.
