Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Test Engineer. The role involves validating the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications through both manual and automated testing, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting Agile delivery environments.
Responsibilities:
• Validate the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications through both manual and automated testing
• Ensure systems meet requirements, comply with standards, and are ready for deployment within an Agile delivery environment
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts supporting Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) enhancements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for User Interface (UI), Applications Programming Interface (API), and back-end services
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Validate fixes across builds
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and DevSecOps teams
• Support integration testing with VA systems
• Conduct performance and load testing
• Ensure compliance with VA security and Section 508 requirements
