SAP Presales Solutions Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Twenty5

Austin, TX • Remote

$90K - $135K/yr

Job description

This is a remote position.

SAP Presales Solutions Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Twenty5 | Remote (US) | Full-Time | $100,000 - $130,000 base plus performance-based variable

Due to U.S. government contracting requirements and export control regulations, this position requires U.S. citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available.

About Twenty5

Twenty5 iPE is a Project CPQ platform native to SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). We help project-based businesses in Aerospace & Defense, Professional Services, Capital Projects, and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing replace Excel and legacy estimating tools with a single, audit-ready platform that integrates natively with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. Our customers include defense primes and large industrial enterprises with rigorous DFARS, DCMA, and TINA compliance requirements. We are about 60 people, remote-first, and growing fast.

The Role

We are hiring our first dedicated presales solutions engineer. You start by owning our SAP BTP demo environment end to end: configuring master data, testing after releases, and keeping it stable and ready to win. You work alongside senior presales on enterprise pursuits, including defense primes and SAP migration deals, then step into your own demos and discovery conversations as your product fluency deepens, typically within 12 to 18 months.

You will:

  • Own and continuously improve our live SAP BTP demo environments
  • Prepare discovery-aligned demo scripts tailored to each account's vertical and pain points
  • Co-present demos for mid-tier accounts and support senior presales on enterprise deals
  • Test new product features first and write clear, reproducible bug tickets for the dev team
What We Are Looking For

One of these backgrounds:

  • Presales solutions engineer at a major enterprise software firm (SAP, Siemens, Oracle, IFS, Hexagon, PTC, or similar)
  • Consultant from a Big 4 or tier-one firm with hands-on SAP implementation experience in industrial or A&D clients
  • Solutions or presales role at a specialized SAP partner or ISV serving A&D, ETO Manufacturing, Capital Projects, or Professional Services

Plus:

  • Hands-on familiarity with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA; SAP BTP is a strong plus
  • Exceptional communication; you can brief an engineer on a bug and a VP on a business outcome in the same afternoon
  • A&D knowledge is a meaningful differentiator: DCAA, DFARS, CAS compliance, program cost structures, or pricing and estimating workflows
  • Comfort with project-based business models: labor estimating, bill of materials, earned value management

This is not a fit if you have no SAP exposure and no A&D or complex industrial context. The product is too niche to train from zero.

Compensation and Structure
  • $100,000 to $130,000 base plus variable tied to pipeline and demo-to-opportunity conversion
  • Remote-first with 15 to 25 percent travel for workshops and major demos
  • Direct access to the CEO, CPO, and CRO from day one

Twenty5 is an equal opportunity employer.
