(Remote)Aerospace Tranmission Design Engineer

Job Number: 364800

Category: -Engineering & Design SBU

Description: A(n) Aerospace Transmissions Engineer job is currently available remotely through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Degree and at least 10 of relevant experience in the area of Aerospace Geared Transmissions.

Job Duties:

  • Lead gear design, analysis and integration in Aerospace Turbomachinery applications.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers in the area of Aerospace gear design.
  • Review work and implement improvements to methods and standard work.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 10+ years of design experience, preferably with NX
  • Experience performing Aerospace gear design using industry tools.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
  • Experience with gear manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with industry standard tools for gear design and manufacture.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Active security clearance or ability to get one.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Experience with Siemens NX CAD suite.

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $125,000 to $175,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
