Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment pathways, and strategies for self-care.
  • Monitor client progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on individual responses to therapy.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder treatment and integrate new practices into therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment processes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to foster collective insights and continuous skill improvement.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and challenging stigmas around mood disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our team, you will focus on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, allowing you to use your cultural competence and sensitivity to tailor your approach effectively. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.
  • In-depth knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities, especially evidence-based practices for treating mood disorders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse cultural and demographic backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy for clients with mood disorders, demonstrating measurable improvements in client well-being.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatric professionals.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
