This position allows for a remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to provide counseling and support to clients from the comfort of their homes. Your professional home office will be your hub for engaging with clients, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. Regular business hours are the standard, with occasional evenings and weekends anticipated for community outreach and special programming.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, creating a strong foundation for tailored interventions.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches that align with each client’s unique circumstances.
• Develop and implement service plans that outline clients' goals and objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Advocate passionately for clients' rights and access to vital social services, actively addressing prevalent social justice issues.
• Engage in the development and evaluation of programs while assisting with grant reporting to support operational funding.
• Work collaboratively with community stakeholders, including organizations and government agencies, to expand assistance and resources available to clients.
• Actively participate in team meetings, ongoing training sessions, and community outreach activities to promote the organization’s initiatives.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing an array of mental health challenges. This may include trauma, anxiety, depression, and social issues associated with marginalized communities. With a strong commitment to cultural competency, you will provide tailored support to ensure equitable mental health care, meeting clients where they are and guiding them toward stability and empowerment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling or related areas, with a proven track record of therapeutic engagements.
• Deep understanding of social justice frameworks, trauma-informed care, and access to community resources.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate and support clients.

• Prior experience working within a nonprofit organization or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies will be considered an advantage.
