As a licensed therapist, you will primarily work from home, maintaining flexibility while staying connected with colleagues and clients. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, identifying key issues that require intervention.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop tailored service plans that align with each client's goals, utilizing collaborative techniques to engage clients in their own healing process.
• Advocate passionately for clients’ rights and access to essential resources, empowering them to navigate complex systems and overcome barriers to care.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of community programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of diverse populations.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing terminal illnesses, emotional trauma, and psychosocial challenges associated with end-of-life care. Your work will help clients navigate the complexities of grief, adjustment, and mental wellness during these critical times. You will also focus on marginalized groups within the Atlanta area, ensuring that disadvantaged populations receive equitable support and advocacy.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for this position.
• A deep understanding of trauma-informed care, social justice principles, and community resources is crucial to effectively support clients.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and strong organizational skills are vital for success and client engagement in this role.
