This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while focusing on delivering high-quality mental health services to diverse populations. As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals, couples, and families through their mental health challenges, promoting recovery and well-being.

About the Organization

Happy Patient Diagnostic and Mental Healthcare Center is committed to providing exceptional mental health care specialized in addressing a range of psychological conditions and emotional issues. Located in the beautiful San Ramon, California, we prioritize patient-centered approaches and holistic therapies that encourage lasting improvements and personal growth. Our center prides itself on maintaining a supportive environment where both patients and professionals flourish.

Work Environment

This position will be fully remote, allowing you to provide essential therapy services from the comfort of your own space. You will engage with patients using secure video conferencing and telehealth platforms, ensuring access to care that is both safe and convenient. The work environment fosters a positive culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication, with a dedicated emphasis on maintaining mental wellness for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct timely and effective therapy sessions, adhering to the client's scheduled appointments and therapeutic goals.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, end-of-life concerns, addiction, and coping with chronic pain.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to ensure effective treatment.
  • Provide consultation and collaboration with other mental health professionals and community agencies to enhance the treatment process and integrate holistic care.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults, couples, and families, offering support for a range of complex emotional and mental health issues. Our diverse client population includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses, requiring a therapist who is culturally competent and empathetic. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and work towards mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Active and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential issued by the State of California.
  • A minimum of two years’ hands-on experience delivering therapeutic services in a mental health setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish professional boundaries and respect client confidentiality throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with patients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a diverse clientele, particularly in teletherapy formats.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care methodologies and a passion for mental health advocacy.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we offer:

  • Access to Continuing Education credits to support your professional growth.
  • A flexible work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Professional development assistance, helping you further enhance your clinical skills and career trajectory.
Career Growth Opportunities

At the Happy Patient Diagnostic and Mental Healthcare Center, we are deeply committed to the professional growth of our team members. As part of our organization, you will have access to regular training programs, workshops, and resources that facilitate career advancement and skill enhancement. Our leadership team actively supports pathways for promotion, encouraging LMFTs to grow into advanced clinical roles or leadership positions within the organization.

Why Join Our Team

We believe that taking exceptional care of our team leads to improved patient outcomes. By becoming a part of our dedicated team, you will experience a supportive workplace culture, competitive benefits, and the fulfillment of making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Embrace this opportunity to leverage your skills in a vibrant, collaborative environment where you can thrive personally and professionally.
