Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ mental health status and needs.
• Design customized treatment plans that address the individual concerns of clients, effectively guiding them towards recovery and resilience.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, targeting issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics using evidence-based methodologies.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, encompassing physical, emotional, and social supports.
• Stay current with best practices through continued professional education, utilizing workshops, conferences, and online learning opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of mental health programs and initiatives that aim to improve service delivery and program effectiveness, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing various age groups and backgrounds. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals facing an array of psychological challenges, including those struggling with chronic mental health issues, transitional life challenges, relationship problems, and trauma. Your role will significantly aid in providing tailored therapeutic support that promotes healing and resilience within this varied community.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license/certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• At least two years of professional experience in providing mental health services, demonstrating a proven ability to effectively manage a diverse client case load.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the aptitude to build rapport swiftly with clients, fostering a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment.
• Though not required, experience with electronic medical record systems is advantageous to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a remote therapy setting, utilizing telehealth technologies effectively to engage clients.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Background in developing and leading group therapy sessions for various mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
