What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote admin, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Admin, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative procedures, often supported by experience or a relevant degree. Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools, cloud storage platforms, and office software like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is essential. Salesforce Administrator

Garner Health

New City, NY โ€ข Remote

$140K - $160K/yr

Full-time

Job description

What you'll be part of

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we're the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.

The result is a rare "win win" — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.

About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional Salesforce Administrator to join our RevOps team. This role will report to the VP of RevOps. This is a critical role for building and supporting one of Garner's core systems as we continue to scale and transition into an AI-native company. This role will have high visibility and impact across all sales and customer success teams.

Where you will work:

Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and deploy Salesforce solutions end to end — flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, page layouts, permission sets, and integrations with our GTM tools.
  • Serve as the first point of support for all tickets and bug reports from Revenue users, resolving bugs and troubleshooting system errors and unexpected behaviors quickly and transparently.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable system designs.
  • Own Salesforce data quality — manage deduplication, enrichment, imports, and regular audits so Revenue teams can trust the data they run on.
  • Administer users, roles, profiles, and security, and manage change safely through sandboxes, testing, and controlled releases.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give Revenue teams and leadership clear visibility into pipeline, forecast, and performance.
  • Evaluate and implement AI capabilities across Salesforce and the GTM stack — including agentic and AI-assisted workflows — in support of our transition to an AI-native company.
  • Document system architecture, processes, and changes, and train Revenue users to drive adoption of new functionality.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience, ideally supporting Sales and Customer Success teams at a high-growth B2B company.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
  • Deep fluency with declarative tools — Flow, validation rules, custom objects, permission sets, and security — and sound judgment about when a problem calls for configuration versus code.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with a modern GTM stack, such as marketing automation, sales engagement, and enrichment.
  • A track record of turning ambiguous business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into scalable, well-documented system designs.
  • A strong service orientation — pride in fast, transparent support, clean data, and making Revenue users measurably more productive.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI, with experience (or eagerness to build it) using AI tools like Claude and AI-assisted workflows in day-to-day admin work.
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Compensation Transparency:

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
