We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Office at Renewal Path Counseling, LLC. As a remote position, our mental health therapist will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while maintaining close communication with our interdisciplinary team. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments on children and adolescents to identify their unique emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that respect each child's developmental stage and consider family dynamics to foster effective outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and behavioral modification strategies to address mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to provide a nurturing home environment, reinforcing support systems for the young patients.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care that encompasses various aspects of our patients' lives.
• Provide crisis intervention services for children and adolescents in emotional distress or mental health emergencies, effectively assessing risk and developing immediate response strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines to ensure high standards of care.
• Actively participate in professional development activities and contribute to team meetings, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay current with ongoing research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to further elevate the quality of care provided within our office.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing diverse mental health challenges. Our client population includes those struggling with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral challenges. Your expertise will not only assist individuals in crisis but also empower families with strategies to promote long-term well-being, aligning with our organizational vision of holistic health.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
• Strong knowledge base in child and adolescent psychological development as well as treatment modalities that are evidence-based.
• Understanding of ethical and legal considerations in mental health practice.

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored to youth.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy approaches to ensure adaptability in providing care.
