Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ mental health statuses, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to create tailored treatment plans that promote healing and autonomy.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that interventions align with established best practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation to meet HIPAA standards, guaranteeing the integrity and professionalism of the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver holistic care that meets the complex needs of clients recovering from addiction and related mental health disorders.
• Participate in regular peer consultations and case reviews, fostering professional growth and improving the overall quality of therapeutic services.
• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, guiding them through available community resources and support systems.
• Stay informed on current research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge and practices into your therapeutic work to ensure optimal client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on clients at various stages of detoxification and recovery, assisting them with issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. You will work with a diverse clientele, each bringing unique backgrounds and challenges, allowing for a rich therapeutic experience where you can make a measurable difference in their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active clinical license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• Proven experience in utilizing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to craft individualized treatment plans, demonstrating a commitment to personalized care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential in developing strong rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing for adept navigation of complex mental health situations.
• A collaborative mindset, emphasizing the importance of teamwork to provide exceptional client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with detoxification or addiction recovery populations, offering vital insight into the challenges and nuances of these clients.
• Familiarity with therapeutic tools and electronic health record systems, streamlining documentation and client management processes.
• A track record of continuing education in mental health topics, showcasing a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the value of your expertise and contributions to the organization.
