As a remote therapist, you will operate within a supportive and collaborative virtual framework. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients presenting with mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that are attuned to their unique backgrounds, goals, and preferences.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in your sessions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to promote engagement in their treatment journey.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to refine therapeutic strategies and enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain confidential and compliant documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines in all record-keeping practices.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Advocate for clients' needs and work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction issues within the communities we serve.

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, providing support to clients from various backgrounds and life experiences. Your role is crucial in facilitating their journey toward recovery and emotional stability.

• Current and active state license for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to understanding clients' experiences.
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
