Postdoctoral Research Scientist & Clinical Psychologist โ€“ PTSD & Addiction Research

Location: Rockville, MD | Full-Time

Join a dynamic team advancing evidence-based treatment for addiction and PTSD.

Maryland Treatment Centers (MTC) is seeking a full-time Research Scientist and Clinical Psychologist to support innovative addiction research within our Rockville treatment center. This role offers the chance to develop a research-oriented career in substance use disorder (SUD) and trauma treatment while working alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

ยท Coordinate a clinical trial for the treatment of PTSD taking place within a residential addiction treatment setting.

ยท Provide direct clinical services (Written Exposure Therapy for PTSD) as a study therapist on the project.

ยท Supervise research staff and assist with data collection and analysis.

ยท Collaborate with senior researchers on publications, grant development, and new studies.

ยท Mentor trainees and participate in extern supervision and teaching.
