• Develop trusting relationships with clients, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for them to delve into their experiences with alcohol use.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices tailored to individual client needs.
• Actively listen and provide empathic responses, ensuring clients feel heard and understood as they work through their challenges.

The primary focus of this role is to support clients struggling with alcohol dependence, including individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Counselors will work with clients at various stages of their recovery journey, employing personalized strategies to help them achieve their recovery goals and maintaining their overall mental wellness.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Social Worker, particularly in addiction or substance use treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to facilitate remote operations and documentation.

• Five years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in addiction services.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure the efficient management of client documentation.
