We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. Ria Health, recognized as the leading national telehealth provider specializing in alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment, recently raised $18 million in Series A led by SV Health Investors, LLC.ย  The investment will further the momentum of commercial partnerships that include regional and national health plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealth Group Optum,ย  Beacon Health Options, Highmark Health, and Magellan Health.

Ria Health is a Center of Excellence that delivers a Joint Commission accredited program that leverages evidence-based pharmacotherapy, psychosocial support, and an engaging care delivery platform to help members achieve lasting improvements in their quality of life. Riaโ€™s published outcomes data set the standard for effectiveness in alcohol treatment. The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and by a care team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Coaches with clinical expertise to manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.

WORK AS A RIA HEALTH TELEMEDICINE LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Ria Health clinical personnel participate in a virtual team clinic environment, working interdependently with team members and departments. The psychologistย must have demonstrated experience delivering evidence based psychotherapy, such as CBT, MI, and trauma informed care and training in addiction. Ria clinicians are professional and collegial, with the temperament and judgment to treat patients via telemedicine. Ria clinicians use the Ria platform to monitor and support membersโ€™ progress to positive outcomes, and to collaborate with medical, coaching and supporting team members. All clinical staff participate in weekly rounds to review and learn from case situations and the discussion of previous experience. This role is 100% remote.

REQUIREMENTSย 

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist or PsyD certified at the independent level with PSYPACT authorityย (or eligiibe to obtain) to practice telepsychology including the E.Passport Certificate from ASPPB

  • Three to five years of experience delivering evidence-based psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, trauma and alcohol use disorderย 

  • Experience treating individuals age 65 and older and individuals with behavioral and medical conditionsย 

  • Experience with Medicaid recipients preferred

  • Technology-savvy and experienced with service apps such as Athenanet, Zoom

  • Team player; maintains a high level of professionalism with members and team

  • People oriented, relationship focused; experience with telehealth is desirable

  • A secure private office with a professional background and appearance including proper lighting and direct high-speed internet capabilities to conduct video medical appointments

  • Acknowledgment that work may involve working with Protected Healthcare Information and agree to abide by all company policies and procedures for keeping that information secure and private.

  • Agree to work within the policies and procedures of Ria Health, including the Information Security, Acceptable Use, Remote Work/Teleworking, and the Monitoring and Recording policies. Violation of company policies may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.ย 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES and ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments Develop, implement and revise as needed, personalized interdisciplinary treatment plansย 

  • Lead the psychological and psychosocial aspects of treatment for assigned patients

  • Deliver evidence based psychotherapy for alcohol use disorder, depression, anxiety and trauma primarily in an older population (age 65 and over)

  • Coordinate care among the interdisciplinary team and externally with other care providers and care managersย 

  • Attend weekly rounds and/or team meetings

  • Monitor health outcomes and use data to inform treatment and discharge plans

  • Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as neededย 

  • Escalate patient safety issues in accordance with company and professional standardsย 

  • Manage patient appointments according to company, medical, and insurance requirements

  • May facilitate psychoeducational or psychotherapy groups

  • Conduct all clinical services in accordance with industry best practices and Ria Health clinical guidance
  • The psychologist should be willing to enter into a collaboration agreement with certified alcohol counselors on the team for consultation regarding shared cases.
  • OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Communicate with patients through phone, app-based text messages, and HIPAA compliant email

  • Build relationships with Ria members to support engagement, quality experiences, and lasting outcomes

  • Demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and promptness during sessions, throughout the course of care, and by using technology interfaces with members

  • Enter clinical documentation and billing information in a compliant manner into Ria Healthโ€™s provider platform/EHR

  • Participation in required training offered by the organization

  • Collaborate with Medical, Product and Coaching team on program development

  • Comply with HIPAA/CFR 42 Part 2 privacy standards, Ria Health policies and procedures, reimbursement and accreditation requirements, and Federal/State/Local laws & regulations

  • Continuous learning and change advocacy as determined by industry trends, community needs, and best practices

  • Plan schedule around member load to optimize continuity of care
