• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client's substance abuse history alongside their mental health status.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction-related issues and any underlying mental health conditions, adjusting strategies based on client progress.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated care and positive client outcomes.
• Educate and empower clients' families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to create a supportive home environment.
• Maintain diligent records to comply with organizational policies and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in client documentation.

This role primarily focuses on adults suffering from substance use disorders, many of whom may also be experiencing co-occurring mental health issues. As a member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for advocating for these clients, guiding them on their journey to recovery through empathetic support and evidence-based interventions.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, supported by either specialized training or relevant professional experience.
• Robust understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with an ability to motivate clients toward their recovery objectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster teamwork among colleagues and engagement with clients.

• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and utilizing motivational interviewing techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping and treatment planning.
• Track record of collaborating effectively with healthcare providers across various disciplines.
