This position offers the flexibility of a full-time remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering essential support to clients across various geographical locations. You will utilize our electronic health record system, AVATAR, to document interactions and manage client progress efficiently. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, enriches our approach to holistic patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, documenting each client’s journey from initial consultation to successful treatment completion.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, ensuring they receive the right interventions and support.
• Facilitate dynamic individual and group therapy sessions, fostering open dialogue and promoting healing among participants.
• Monitor clients’ progress continuously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative intervention planning with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment framework.
• Maintain open communication with family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage mental behavioral challenges.
• Identify and address behaviors that hinder recovery, constantly seeking ways to motivate and support clients in their healing journey.

Our client population encompasses a diverse range of individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients spanning different age groups, backgrounds, and life experiences, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their wellness goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling with a solid foundation in clinical skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems like AVATAR for effective client management.
• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with exceptional interpersonal abilities and a sympathetic nature.

• Experience addressing underlying physical and emotional health issues, as well as addiction disorders, will be an asset in this role.
• Knowledge of the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical specialists will enhance your ability to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Experience in family dynamics and relationship counseling will be beneficial for working with couples and families.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
