We are seeking an exceptionally self-directed, proactive, and hands-on Operations & Process Specialist
to drive the execution and workflow integration of our Body Confident Sport (BCS) initiative. This is a
role for a true doer who does not wait for a checklist to be handed to them; you must be someone who naturally looks ahead, independently assesses workflows, and identifies what needs to be done. In this role, you will analyze how different areas of our program operate, independently figure out how
to merge overlapping workflows into cohesive systems, and document those processes clearly. You will
be the operational enginenot just tracking timelines, but actively executing day-to-day tasks,
anticipating roadblocks before they happen, and confidently leading team members through process
adoption. This position has the option of being hybrid or fully remote.
About Coaching HER:
Coaching HER is a free, research-based online educational platform housed in the Tucker Center for
Research on Girls & Women in Sport at the University of Minnesota. Powered by Nike, the platform
equips coaches with tools to challenge gender bias and better support girls in sport.

About Body Confident Sport:
Body Confident Sport is a course within Coaching HER, and is a first-of-its-kind, scientifically proven set
of coaching tools to build body confidence in 1117 year old girls. It was co-developed by Dove and
Nike, in partnership with world-renowned researchers and experts the Centre for Appearance
Research and the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport and includes input from girls
and coaches from six countries, including France, India, Japan, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S.
Body Confident Sport provides coaches with the materials they need to increase girls body confidence,
body image and self-esteem through sport.

Job Responsibilities:

Process Merging & Optimization (25%): 

• Analyze operational workflows across different
  program areas (e.g., global expansion vs. licensing). 
• Identify redundancies, collaborate across
  team members to think through how these areas can be integrated, and design streamlined,
  unified processes.

Process Writing & Documentation (20%): 

• Standardize operations by writing clear, step-by-step
  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and training guides for internal and external
  Use.

Workflow Execution & Leadership (20%): 

• Actively execute day-to-day operational tasks. 
• Lead and coach team members and partners to ensure they understand, adopt, and properly execute
  newly established processes.

Global Expansion, Translations & Licensing (20%): 

• Physically drive and manage the vendor
  workflows for translations and localized adaptations.
• Own the day-to-day program licensing
  process, actively onboarding and guiding new licensees through setup.

Data & Compliance Ownership (15%): 

• Gather and organize user/partner feedback data to help
  the team prioritize improvements. 
• Maintain meticulous records to ensure BCS operations
  comply with relevant legal, ethical, and university regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or a combination of relevant professional experience, education, and training.

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, process mapping, program administration, or hands-on project coordination.
• High Degree of Autonomy: Proven track record of working independently, looking ahead to anticipate project needs, and taking immediate action without waiting for direct instruction. 
• A Doer Mindset: Proven experience not just managing timelines, but actively executing the administrative and operational tasks required to cross the finish line.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with people from a variety of communities, backgrounds, and identities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience independently analyzing workflows and writing clear processes or SOPs.
• Experience coordinating complex vendor workflow (e.g., translation workflows or partner onboarding). 
• Exceptional organizational skills and comfort maintaining tracking spreadsheets or databases. 
• Proficiency with operational and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Excel, Monday.com).
• A passion for youth sports, body confidence, and empowering your athletes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment.

The School of Kinesiology advances interdisciplinary knowledge about physical activity and human movement in order to promote lifelong health and well-being in local, national, and global communities. Our innovative research, high-quality teaching, and collaborative outreach focus on the science and management of physical activity and human movement within contexts such as exercise, health care, and sport. We offer three undergraduate majors serving over 500 students (BS in Kinesiology, Sport Management, and Physical Activity and Health Promotion), an honors program, three minors (including a newly launched Esport Management minor), and a coaching certificate program. Over 150 students enroll in six graduate degree programs (MEd in Sport and Exercise Science, Sport Management, and Physical Activity and Health; MS and PhD in Kinesiology with seven emphasis areas). More than 4000 students per year complete courses in our comprehensive Physical Activity Program. Our faculty comprise 16 tenured or tenure-track faculty and 8 full time non-tenure track faculty, and house 14 research labs and centers. The work of the school is supported by 13 staff including CSBU (civil service and bargaining unit) and Professional and Academic Staff. Pay Range: $25 - $28 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
