Professionals in this role are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting online ads across various platforms, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and meet clients' objectives. They work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to maximize the effectiveness of advertising efforts, using tools like ad servers, analytics platforms, and reporting dashboards. This role typically requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with digital advertising technologies.

What skills and qualifications are needed for remote ad operations?

Familiarity with ad servers (such as Google Ad Manager), programmatic platforms, analytics tools, and industry certifications like the IAB Digital Media Certification is typically required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing remote workflows and collaborating with clients and teams. To manage these effectively, it's essential to leverage project management and communication tools, establish regular check-ins, and document processes thoroughly. Proactively addressing potential miscommunications and setting clear expectations with stakeholders can help ensure campaigns run smoothly and deadlines are met.
