Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individualized counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic practices to enhance clients' mental health.
• Facilitating discussions that allow clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and personal narratives, fostering introspection and insight.
• Acting as a client advocate, helping to define and articulate their therapeutic goals while ensuring clarity in the treatment process.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and collaboratively developing comprehensive treatment plans grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Utilizing our all-in-one counselor dashboard to manage client appointments, document progress, and communicate efficiently, ensuring minimal administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will consist of carefully screened stable adults presenting with low acuity mental health needs. Healing Orbits Inc. prioritizes matching counselors with clients based on specialties and demographic preferences, optimizing the therapeutic relationship and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to ensure effective practice and care delivery:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current and valid licensure in Georgia as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in good standing without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic nature.
• Proficient computer literacy to utilize various digital counseling tools and platforms.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting. Experience in virtual counseling is a plus, and proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology and platforms is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
