Job Summary:

They are seeking a Senior Architect for Virtual Infrastructure and Systems to plan, implement, and maintain the firm's virtual and physical infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability and resilience across multiple data centers and Azure regions.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and support on‑premises, hybrid, and Azure infrastructure environments, including provisioning, patching, migration, monitoring, optimization, and decommissioning
• Assist the Lead Architect, Virtual Infrastructure & Systems with the design, maintenance, and upgrade of enterprise storage solutions, including on‑premises SAN and Azure storage services
• Design, implement, and support highly available and resilient solutions across multiple data centers and Azure regions to meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements
• Specify, architect, and deliver infrastructure solutions—on‑premises and Azure‑based—for projects within the Technical Services Group and across the firm
• Monitor server, storage, and Azure environments; maintain system documentation and inventory; analyze performance and capacity data to forecast needs and make recommendations
• Research, design, and implement infrastructure enhancements leveraging Azure services to support a secure, mobile workforce and agile development practices
• Provide operational support for server, storage, and Azure platforms, including reporting, change coordination, off‑hours maintenance, and participation in after‑hours support as required
• Actively share knowledge of the virtual infrastructure with other team members including the Lead Storage and Systems Architect and the Operations team
• Ensure integrity of replication between data centers
• Provide regular reports for all environments
• Provide day to day support for all server and storage solutions and participation in after hour support as needed
• Perform required maintenance and upgrades during off hours as required
• Coordinate with Technical Architecture team on project based work
• Coordinate changes with the Technical Services Group following internal change management procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 6 years' work with Hypervisor and Azure design and administration acting in a senior role.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of Microsoft Azure cloud tenants, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies, Azure compute and storage services, and Azure data center resources
• At least 6 years of expertise with hypervisor platforms, including VMware, Nutanix, and Microsoft Hyper‑V, covering deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• At least 6 years of strong experience managing enterprise server platforms, including Cisco UCS and HPE environments.
• Minimum of 6 years' work with enterprise class SAN and cloud-based storage and server management
• Experience designing, operating, and supporting hybrid environments that integrate on‑premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services
• Experience implementing and managing vSphere, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, vCloud Director, vCloud Air and physical to virtual migrations
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and independently implement changes that enhance reliability, performance, or security
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast‑paced and team-based environment
