As a remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be an integral part of our community health clinic. Although you will work from home, our clinical team maintains strong connectivity through virtual meetings, collaborative tools, and regular professional development sessions. • Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy tailored to specific client needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to promote holistic care and improved client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and staying informed about the latest research in mental health practices.

The clients served by Miracle Mental Health Counseling come from a diverse range of backgrounds and present various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders, among other concerns. By providing culturally competent, empathetic support, you will help clients navigate their unique journeys toward recovery and well-being.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering counseling services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse populations and facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other related software platforms.

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000 based on your caseload and experience.
