Job description

Position
We are seeking a highly motivated outside sales executive with an ability to break down barriers, develop winning strategies and drive exponential sales growth with new and existing accounts. The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business and expanding customer relationships within the Food Service vertical, including grocery, convenience store, and restaurant segments. This role sells SmartSense and Jolt IoT solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers by building strong executive relationships, developing strategic sales plans, and closing complex deals.
What We Offer
This is an opportunity for a high-performing Account Executive to help grow SmartSense and Jolt within the Food Service industry. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver IoT solutions that improve operational efficiency, compliance, and safety for enterprise customers while contributing to the company's continued growth.
What You Will Do
  • Win new mid-market and enterprise customers within the Food Service vertical.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation and close.
  • Develop executive-level relationships within target accounts.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Partner with internal teams to support customer engagements and sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quotas and pipeline targets.

Who You Are and What You Bring
  • 5+ years of direct technology sales experience.
  • 2+ years selling into enterprise customers in the Food Service industry.
  • Experience selling SaaS, IoT, or hardware-enabled solutions in complex buying environments.
  • Strong consultative sales approach and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of pipeline development and closing enterprise deals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Desired But Not Required
  • Experience selling IoT or operational technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with grocery, convenience store, or restaurant operations.

Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel. Upper Midwest and Canada.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000, which includes base salary + commission target. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary and commission offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate's relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
