Job description

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Full-Cycle Accountant with expertise in QuickBooks Online and Major Payroll platforms. This remote position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent work environment and excels at managing accounting functions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently oversee & maintain full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for all client accounts utilizing cloud-based tools (QuickBooks Online & Payroll platforms, etc.)
  • Independently oversee & maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly bookkeeping for small to mid-size businesses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US accounting standards.
  • Set up and manage ADP Payroll processes, QuickBooks Online ensuring seamless integration and operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams, providing expert financial insights and support to ensure client's and team's satisfaction.
  • Responsible for monitoring, documenting SOP’s, and improving accounting & Compliance processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot client bookkeeping issues & QBO & other related software's to provide training and guidance to the team.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to request data, follow up on questions, provide timely information, etc.
  • Oversee and Maintain historical records by accurately filing documents physically and electronically
  • Review and file W2 & 1099’s at the end of the year for clients and responsible for year-end close.
  • Prepare and review various types of tax returns (individuals, Corporations, partnerships, international, estate planning, etc.)
  • Understand & Solve problems in all areas of US accounting & bookkeeping
  • Working successfully in a team environment
  • Conducting accounting and tax-related research
  • Responsible for preparing and updating all other business-related licenses, documentation, and fillings
  • Independently complete & assist the office manager/partner with admin-related activities such as answering phone calls, managing company emails, replying to prospective clients, project management, etc.
  • Responsible for overseeing daily admin activities

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years working experience in full-cycle bookkeeping using QBO, other accounting, and major payroll software’s, looking to grow accounting & tax career
  • 3 -5 years of hands on working experience in using QBO involving troubleshooting data entry errors and payroll integrations
  • 3-5 years experience in areas of Bookkeeping, Payroll, Sales Tax, and Financial reviews of clients accounting in the USA working in different industries
  • 3 -5 years working experience of Strong Computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, accounting and tax software’s
  • Efficient and experienced in current technology
  • 3+ working experience of accurately filling documents physically and electronically
  • 3-4 years of CPA Firm / Accounting Firm Experience required
  • 3-5 years of working knowledge of accounting and tax standards for business
  • 3 -5 years of working experience in Lacerte or other tax software
  • Required to take challenges and learn new skills and software applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
  • Licensed CPA / EA or on track will be plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote work environment as part of a team
  • 3+ years of working experience in Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of Excellent professional written and verbal communications skills are required to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, peers, and other contacts
  • Expertise in financial review, feedback, training to staff, reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ADP Payroll, with a solid understanding of setup and management.
  • High integrity and Sensitive to confidential information individual with strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task on many different projects
