Location of Work: This is a home-based position based in the greater Toronto area

      • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
      • 5 years of key account management experience within food service
      • Proven success in acquiring and managing strategic accounts 
      • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

      • Develop and maintain long term regional chains, key accounts and distributor relationships, while working within an established budget and maintaining the highest level of customer service.
      • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer relationship, ensuring alignment and bringing in resources as needed to support business objectives
      • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the category, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for Cavendish Farms and our customers 
      • Meet regularly with customers to review business performance, identify opportunities, and negotiate distribution, pricing, and promotional programs within approved parameters 
      • Analyze customer and category data to identify trends and opportunities; collaborate with Marketing and Category Management to develop fact-based recommendations. 
      • Manage financial performance for assigned accounts, including trade investment, profitability, and key financial metrics
      • Work cross functionally to solve challenges, improve business, and identify new opportunities 
      • Own forecasting and demand planning for assigned accounts 
      • Participate in joint business planning processes with key accounts
