Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough intake assessments for new students to evaluate their mental health needs, utilizing standardized screening tools and personal interviews.

- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring data integrity and privacy.
This position focuses on the mental health needs of a diverse range of students, from those facing academic pressures to those experiencing personal crises. Understanding the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults is crucial to facilitating effective therapeutic outcomes. By providing culturally competent care, you will help empower students to navigate their personal challenges and achieve their goals.
Qualifications- A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated understanding of the mental health challenges faced by students in a school environment and the ability to engage with diverse populations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong connections with students and professional collaboration.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices applicable to a university counseling center, as well as brief therapy models.
- Proven capability to manage a diverse caseload effectively within a dynamic work setting.
- Experience working in educational settings, particularly with college-aged populations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation tools.
- Previous engagement in mental health outreach programs or wellness events is a plus.
