Bliss Reformation and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing essential mental health support within a remote environment. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring consistent care for our clients. While full-time hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, some evening or weekend hours may be required to meet client needs. Being part of a detox center means you will engage with individuals during pivotal moments of their recovery journey, necessitating on-call availability for urgent situations. Our approach encourages flexibility in scheduling, making it easier to provide continuity of care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' psychosocial needs, focusing on the interplay of emotional, mental, and social factors related to their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to create personalized care plans that align with individual goals and treatment preferences.
• Deliver counseling and emotional support to clients and their families, guiding them through critical transitions and challenges associated with recovery.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to essential community resources, ensuring they receive appropriate and timely support services.
• Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, nurses, and caregivers—to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.
• Regularly visit clients to monitor their well-being, assess living conditions, and proactively address any safety or care-related concerns.
• Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among family members involved in client care, promoting a united approach to recovery.
• Educate clients and their families about available community resources and support groups to enhance social engagement and quality of life.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client assessments, care plans, therapy notes, and interactions to ensure proper continuity of care.
• Stay updated on current practices, policies, and regulations in social work to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards.

You will be working primarily with individuals seeking assistance with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, notably in a detox environment. This population often faces significant emotional and social challenges, and your role will be crucial in guiding them through the recovery process, helping them develop coping strategies and access necessary resources to facilitate their journey toward healing.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant social work experience, particularly in community health or geriatric settings, is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of social work principles, aging-related issues, and available support resources.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and therapeutic skills, demonstrating compassion and empathy towards clients and their families.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology is necessary.

• Experience working in rehabilitation, detox, or similar environments where mental health and substance use intersect.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience advocating for client rights and navigating community resource systems to enhance client care.
