This role is performed remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a focus on patient care. Although you will work from the comfort of your own space, you will remain actively connected with colleagues through online platforms for collaboration, case consultations, and professional development opportunities. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. This enables you to provide the best possible care while also balancing your personal commitments.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine personalized treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journeys.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can safely process their trauma and build practical coping mechanisms.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure optimal integrated care for our patients.
• Respond to crises by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of accountability.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic efficacy.

Your work will directly impact individuals grappling with trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. These patients require not just therapeutic interventions, but a supportive environment where they feel understood and empowered. Your expertise is vital in helping them navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively manage crises.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

While a minimum of two years of experience post-licensure is preferred, we also value those who bring unique insights and skills that align with our patient-centered focus. Experience in trauma-focused interventions and therapeutic techniques will be considered an asset.
