Work Environment

This role is performed remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a focus on patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine personalized treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing journeys.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can safely process their trauma and build practical coping mechanisms.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure optimal integrated care for our patients.
  • Respond to crises by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of accountability.
  • Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
