Work Environment

This role operates within a fully remote telehealth framework, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Spring Mountain Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, facilitating an accurate understanding of their needs.
• Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support in emergency situations related to trauma.
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, providing resources to enhance understanding.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve trauma-informed care practices.
• Staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD and complex trauma. This population requires specific sensitivity and skill to effectively address their unique needs and help them navigate their healing journey. By building trusting relationships, you will empower clients to reclaim their lives and develop resilience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a solid foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, the ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional growth within the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
