Job description

Join One of San Diego's Most Respected Design-Build Remodeling Firms. At Lars Remodeling & Design, we don't just build beautiful spaces - we build lasting relationships. Known for delivering luxury home transformations with precision, integrity, and white-glove service, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our award-winning team.

This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll take the lead on multiple high-end residential projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, a smooth client experience, and seamless coordination from start to final inspection.

Your Role Includes:

  • Managing 4-6 active residential remodeling projects simultaneously
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely trade partner execution
  • Conducting regular client check-ins (including weekly face-to-face meetings)
  • Using BuilderTrend to communicate with clients and internal teams
  • Coordinating city inspections and ensuring code compliance
  • Proactively identifying and resolving jobsite challenges
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and professional worksite at all times
  • Facilitating progress payments and maintaining jobsite budgets

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in residential remodeling and project management
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and building codes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Carpentry experience (rough and finish) and a solid understanding of all trades
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and client relationship skills
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools
  • Experience with BuilderTrend (or similar construction management software) is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must reside in the San Diego area
