Job description

Watershed Builders

Residential Remodeling Sales Advisor

Location: South Park, Charlotte, NC

Sell Exceptional Remodeling in One of Charlotte's Best Markets

Watershed Builders is a high-end residential remodeling company serving South Charlotte homeowners who value communication, craftsmanship, and a premium client experience. The company specializes in custom renovations and remodeling, with occasional custom home work, and is building a team that combines grit, ownership, teamwork, and professionalism.

Watershed Builders is hiring a Sales Advisor to generate and convert remodeling opportunities in the South Charlotte market. This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who can build trust quickly, follow up consistently, and help guide homeowners through a significant investment in their home.

This is not a pure inbound closer role. Roughly half the opportunity comes from company-generated leads, and the other half comes from self-motivated outbound effort, networking, prospecting, and relationship-building. The right person will be energized by that mix and excited to grow a book of business over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads
  • Generate outbound opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, and relationship-building
  • Guide homeowners through the remodeling sales process from the first conversation to the signed contract
  • Work closely with estimating to shape accurate, profitable proposals
  • Maintain organized prospect and lead activity within CRM systems
  • Help create a seamless handoff from sales to production
  • Stay connected with clients during the life of the project to support customer satisfaction and referrals
  • Assist in protecting project profitability through strong communication and follow-through
  • Attend industry events and business development opportunities
  • Contribute to a 5-star client experience from first contact through final handoff

Qualifications

  • Proven success in consultative sales, in-home sales, remodeling sales, construction sales, home services sales, or other relationship-driven selling environments
  • Comfortable with both inbound lead follow-up and self-generated outbound prospecting
  • Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
  • Able to communicate professionally and build trust with residential remodeling clients
  • Organized, self-directed, and motivated by performance goals
  • Comfortable working with CRM and business software tools
  • Able to collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and leadership
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clean personal vehicle required
  • This role is based in the South Charlotte market and includes local travel to client homes and project-related meetings.

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 Employment
  • Base salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
  • Realistic potential earnings of $100,000 - $125,000
  • Variable compensation: 3% of sold remodeling revenue
  • Variable compensation payment schedule: 50% at contract signing/deposit and 50% at project completion
  • Expected first-year total earnings may be around $105,000, depending on sales performance
  • Long-term total earnings may exceed $150,000, depending on book of business growth and production volume
  • Unlimited PTO after probationary period, based on performance
  • Up to $400/month toward health insurance
  • Up to $150/month gym reimbursement
  • Up to $150/month chiropractic reimbursement
  • Closed the week between Christmas and New Year
  • Company phone or phone stipend
  • MacBook Air or iPad Pro, depending on role needs
  • Mileage reimbursement up to company limits
  • Company vehicle eligibility after a successful ramp-up period and review
