BRYJO Roofing & Remodeling

In-House Estimator & Production Assistant

Build Accurate Projects. Keep Pre-Construction Moving.

BRYJO Roofing & Remodeling is a quality-driven residential roofing and remodeling company serving the greater Dallas area. For more than 25 years, we have built our reputation on strong communication, high standards, and work done the right way. We are not chasing volume. We are focused on delivering a professional client experience, well-run projects, and results we can stand behind.

We are hiring an In-House Estimator & Production Assistant to support the front end of our projects and help set production up for success. This is an in-office role for someone who can build accurate estimates, stay on top of details, communicate clearly with clients and vendors, and keep multiple projects moving without losing track of the big picture.

This position is ideal for someone who understands residential construction, thinks ahead, and takes pride in being dependable, organized, and resourceful.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare detailed, accurate project estimates using Xactimate, JobTread, and internal company standards
  • Build estimates that fully account for scope, labor, materials, overhead, and profit
  • Develop competitive proposals that align with project scope, timeline, and client expectations
  • Follow up with clients after estimates are delivered, answer questions, and help move jobs toward close
  • Maintain complete and organized documentation in the CRM and project management systems
  • Create concept drawings using SketchUp or similar software to support project proposals
  • Assist with material selections and prepare supporting documents with the design team
  • Place material orders, track deliveries, and confirm order accuracy
  • Oversee permitting across local municipalities and keep approvals moving on schedule
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff to resolve issues and keep projects on track
  • Support leadership and project managers with project setup, documentation, and pre-construction handoff
  • Stay informed on pricing, building products, permitting requirements, and process improvements
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in estimating for residential construction, remodeling, roofing, or related trades
  • Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software
  • Comfort using JobTread, CRM systems, and construction-related technology
  • Ability to create concept drawings in SketchUp or similar design software
  • Strong communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal team members
  • Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple active projects at once
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • A professional, accountable, and solution-oriented approach to work
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with city permitting processes and local building departments
  • Knowledge of residential construction workflows from estimating through production
  • Claims adjusting experience or familiarity with insurance restoration work
  • Experience working closely with project managers, office staff, and leadership in a collaborative environment
What Success Looks Like
  • Estimates are thorough, accurate, and aligned with company standards
  • Communication is prompt, clear, and professional
  • Project information is documented correctly and kept up to date
  • Pre-construction tasks are handled with urgency and ownership
  • Production teams receive complete, organized handoffs that help projects run smoothly
Why BRYJO
  • $54,000 - $60,000 per Year
  • Established, respected company with a long-standing reputation for quality
  • Company Subsidized Health Insurance
  • Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance paid 100% by the company
  • Professional team environment with strong communication and shared accountability
  • High-standard residential projects where details matter
  • Opportunity to play a key role in both estimating and pre-construction coordination
  • Long-term position for someone who wants to grow with a well-run company
