Kitchen Tune-Up Houston Sugar Land is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Refacing / Cabinet installer to join our crew. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners. We offer wood restoration, cabinet painting, cabinet redooring, cabinet refacing and new cabinets.  
 
We are a growing remodeling business and have a great opportunity to join our team and work on projects in the Greater Houston region. 
 Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with another one of our great installers on cabinet redooring, refacing, and cabinet installations in customers homes.  
  • Work with other installer and project manager on executing projects in a quick and efficient way.  
  • Follow processes and steps in installation process to ensure a quality and repeatable end product. 
  • Follow Kitchen Tune Up Trustpoints on every job
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress
  • Upload progress pictures and daily reports to buildertrend. 
  • Work quickly and efficiently
Skills:
  • Stellar work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with other installers and project manager on details of project
  • Able to drill for hinges
  • Able to install doors and drawer fronts
  • Able to install roll-out trays and other organizing accessories in cabinets
  • Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, Mitre/chop saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
  • Ability to lead a team of 2 on the install activiites on a job site 
  • Ability to work in Fort Bend, Harris, Brazoria, and other surrounding areas. 
  • Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
  • Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Additional Skills (preferred).
  • Prior experience in cabinet refacing and custom cabinet installation
  • Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction and terminology from years of installing cabinets, moldings, etc in kitchens. 
  • Prior experience in cutting and installing all moldings, including crown
  • Prior experience leading a team of installers
