Location: Onsite The Dalles, OR 

Duration: 1 Year

Required:

Onsite Data Center Cabling Project Technicians - The Dalles, OR 

Schedule: Multiple Shifts - details to come 
Start: End of June/Early July 2026 - June 2027

Required Skills

  • Hardware installation, configuration, break/fix, and decommissioning
  • Familiarity with data center cabling:
  •  
    • Copper and fiber
    • Installation and troubleshooting
    • Ability to understand port maps and point-to-point connections
  • General understanding of enterprise-level data center infrastructure

Preferred Skills

  • Project experience, including management or deployment
  • Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, such as:
  •  
    • OpenDCIM
    • Nlyte
    • Sunbird
  • Experience with ticketing systems, such as:
  •  
    • Remedy
    • RemedyForce
    • ServiceNow

Scope:

  • Inspect and clean fiber cables
  • Label cables on both ends with Flag Labeler
    • Customer to provide labeling schema
  • Install pre-terminated fiber cables according to provided cabling matrix
    • Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks/ trays
  • Secure and organize cables
  • Provide the following onsite:
    • Fiber inspection probe
    • Labeler that prints flag labels
    • Fiber cleaning kits
  • Inter and Intra rack fiber
    • No backbone
