Implement innovation roadmaps as well as coordinate the advancement of new technologies and procedures to improve program timing. Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met. Conduct Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling (Catia / NX) and template set-up & maintenance using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Early Computer Aided Design (CAD) creation and development prior to supplier award & onboarding. Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components including GD&T. Identify inlines and eyelets that are readily available. Develop and release BDU and related component designs that satisfy vehicle level. Coordinate change management (CCD, CN, A, PER, ICD).

Requirements: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering and six (6) months of experience. 40 hr/wk, travel and/or relocation to various locations throughout the U.S. required, $108,077/yr.
